Digital Youth Media Festival - Game Design Challenge (full version)
On June 27, 2009, Global Kids Leaders and participating youth from Mouse Squad, New York Public Libraries and the Boys & Girls Club, all came together to share their digital media that they have created over the past year.
One group, the New York Public Libraries, have been working on the Playing for Keeps Program GK designed, working together to develop a serious game design over the course of ten weeks. At the festival, the three different groups presented their designs to the entire festival and then after voting, were awarded prizes for the best designs.
