Global Kids Digital Youth Festival

Lol, I'm glad you asked.The kids were thrilled by the whole process, I had fun myself that is why I didn't stop working with them when I got the new position. I was afraid that the project was not going to be as good as the other two libraries because their teens were older. The teens did feel nervous when they got there and saw the older kids. Issue workshops

I made a couple of changes to the poverty workshop. I just added another activity because of a random comment from a coworker (not really my idea!). Instead of watching the Yes They Can video, we did a mini-activity with very few guidelines to illustrate the distribution of wealth in the United States. "When are we gonna begin designing our game?"

The most infamous question asked by my teens. We're getting there. I think they're getting a little restless because we did 2 issue based workshops last week. Hi, I am having a hard time trying to upload videos from the flip to the actual website. The flip is saving things as a m3u audio file. I have worked with the flip before and never had a problem, I am not sure what I am doing wrong this time around. Continue
