Well Workshop 5 went alright, we were able to do everything except the Grow Tower. Our ITG department came that morning to upgrade our flash on the laptops AGAIN. Somehow all the laptops were disconnected from the NYPL network, so we weren't able to get on the Internet at all. The teens had fun with rock, paper, scissors, and the ice breakers too. Although it was spring break, the third week has been a lot smoother. I am so stoked we axed gamestarmechanic. It was a great tool for game mechanics. I had a blast learning it, creating my own games, and playing the games. I am definitely going to recommend my teens try playing and using on their own. Sooo just a little frustrated. I'm sure I'm not the only one. This week has been a week of laptop hell. Still no hope at getting our laptops to load Game Star Mechanic to its full extent. Although we moved one step closer to it. Ms. Lopez was able to follow Sara's directions on downloading Firefox onto a couple flash drives.
